New dairy in the works

Future Dairy Farmers!

Sides gone, roof on ground
Tad taking tin off roof
We are off to a new adventure, opening what we hope and pray will be a wonderful new chapter to our lives. Dad has sold his black Angus cows, and we are waiting approval to start into Dairy. Angie came up with our name in memory of our mother. Dora wrote the business plan, with assistance from Dad, Tad and Angie. Our builder is lined up, parlor set-up picked out, and preparations are well under way. All the existing barns have been gone through with many "treasures" being auctioned, one old garage was burnt down, and another is on the ground awaiting a torch to finish taking it apart. We are waiting approval from the SBA and the bank. If approved, we plan to milk 150 to 180 Holsteins or Brown Swiss. Dad, Tad, Shawn and Dora will be the main employees, with Diana, Angie, and the children filling in.  Here are some pictures of some work that has been done.
