Carrying tree as though it is a stick!

On Wednesday, May 16th, 2012,  an excavator arrived an removed 6 trees where the loafing barn is suppose to sit. Then  Tad brought a D9 bulldozer across the road, took out the old crab apple tree, and then up to the pad to begin dozing. Tad dozed a little before it got too dark to see, and then Dad spent hours on the dozer on Thursday. Friday morning, Ted came to help with the dozing while Dad used the tractor pulling the culta pactor to prepare soil. Then Saturday, the 19th was a very busy day on the farm. Started with more dozing by Dad, then using Uncle Harold's tractor which had Ron's tiller hooked to the back and Dad tilled both his and my garden, then Tad fixed the seeder and he, Dad, and Shawn went to 2 different fields to plant alfalfa, clover, and grass seed to make nice hay fields. We also removed the fence along the front drive over the weekend. More dozing by Dad on Monday, hopefully, after the fuel truck comes today, Dad will be able to fix up the existing road for the TMR mixer to use, and do a little final excavating on the pad. So, lots of exciting things going on, looks like we are moving forward, still waiting on the bank though! Here is a look at the week in pictures!
