After having our application for over a year, Dad finally signed loan documents last week. So, our dairy is no longer a dream, but quickly becoming a reality! YEAH! The power pole and guide wire have been set and passed inspection. Dad and I met with the milk inspector last week, and our parlor dealer this week, making final plans. Hope to meet with the builder soon. Next on the agenda, laying perimeter drains, digging drains for floors, then onto digging footers! Next concrete, hopefully all of this by April 1, depending on weather of course! We've had a lot of snowy days this winter, sometimes just snow flurries, sometimes several inches. Mostly gone the next day and then its sunny and warmer again.I think we've seen snow just about every week since January. The winter wheat was planted, coming up nicely, hoping turkeys don't root around too much! After the beautiful sunshine today, we are anxious to get started.
