22 ladies in waiting moved in!

Our dry cow barn is officially in use! Yesterday Dad, my children, Panda(our new dog) and I left at 10:30 to pick up the first load of 22 Holstein heifers that are due to calve starting in Sept/Oct for 8, and the other 14 due between Jan and March. Our first load had 9 and we made it back home around 2. Unloaded and back on road by 3 then arrived for another load of 7 and back home by 5:30. Then Dad took off again for final load of 6 with Shawn riding along this time. They got back at 9. Girls were very antsy last evening, but doing great today. They even came close for pictures! Jeff Is working today to help us hit our milking start up date. Panda arrived at the farm on Sunday afternoon and it was very much love t first sight for both her and Noah. She was abandoned and Shawn saw her sleeping on the road Friday morning at 5 A.M.  Funny thing is she has Holstein markings!
