Construction for parlor walls started

The construction workers started on the parlor today. Its a crew of 3 Amish and 1 English man today. They sure are moving. Had all the outer posts set in 1 hour! And that's by hand, no ropes, pulley's, or equipment to help!

Fellow toward back in black shirt is in charge of the crew, he's not the owner though

Trusses for parlor also arrived today!

Here's a picture of the posts put up by hand, and this is one of the smallest! Some were 16' and 20' posts!

Josh and Noah watching, actually very chilly at 8:30 A.M., then warmed considerably by 11:30A.M.

3 hours later all posts were set

At hour 6 side walls and braces had a really good start to them.

Lot of progress in 6 hours! None of the timber was on until started at 7:30 this morning.
