After a small lull in construction, the farm is back in swing. Today, there were 19 men working! That includes12 on our concrete crew and the concrete drivers, 6 for the solar work, and 1(close personal friend, Jeff) figuring out what materials we need to build our office and bathroom. Lots of progress made today with both the concrete and the solar panels. Even with 2 tea breaks and a popsicle break! It was super humid and hot today, though, and I couldn't stand to see them suffer through the heat without something to cool them off. The concrete guys took off the forms from the wall they poured yesterday, reset them on the outside footer for that poured wall, and started pouring concrete by 2p.m.! Very impressive! The solar guys did a great job today as well. They set over half of the solar panels on the roof today. Thanks go to Jeff, for your assistance on the inside project!
